NEW TDA KIDS PROGRAM
Introducing the new TDA Kids program, which features three aspects of self-defense and martial arts training designed to enhance your child’s well-being. Our program aims to improve social skills, body coordination, and communication development, helping your child gain confidence as they grow into the person they are meant to be.
Kids Program self-defense & martial arts provides a safe and fun environment for your child to learn the foundations of physical conditioning and self-defense, develop strength, speed, and endurance, and, of course, burn through their endless energy. All activities are age-appropriate, and class sizes are always small. We approach each child individually to build up their confidence and skills. Every session makes our little warriors get healthier, stronger, and excited for more!
THE APPROACHWe have considered the problems kids face in our society and designed an anti-bullying and personal protection program. Through fitness and games, we teach them real-life self-defense skills.
We utilize proven techniques to stop and de-escalate conflicts as an initial means of defense. We add the understanding of nonviolent postures and the preservation of personal boundaries. Practical and intuitive physical skills allow the kids to escape a physical attack. We believe a well-rounded child, who has effective self-defense options to draw from, will thrive and be their own best in all aspects of life.
TDA’s KIDS PROGRAM vs TRADITIONAL PROGRAMS?
While most programs focus on a single discipline, the TDA Kids program offers a multifaceted approach. It equips your child with essential tools such as ocular dexterity coordination through Filipino Arts, enhanced awareness, the ability to assess their surroundings, strategic maneuvers, psychological stability, a sound mind, and cognitive power. These skills are developed using striking self-defense methods and empowering wrestling maneuvers submission, cranks & pins.
PARENTS’ PARTICIPATION
The program creates a bond between children and parents. A great deal depends on parental involvement. During each class, at least one parent per child is always on the training floor, helping to hold the pads and sticks and assisting with the movements. We focus on building their physical abilities and creating child-parent experiences that are fun and trust-building. Being involved in this way allows the parent(s) to practice at home. TDA Kali Kids expands far beyond drills and lets you share fun, fitness, and learning with your children. And as a bonus, you get a workout and learn all the skills yourself.
